Read the tide tables, then go see what the low tide uncovers. Students learn to identify local intertidal animals and seaweeds, practice careful “look, don’t take” habits, and keep a field notebook through the seasons.
Harbor Ecology

Boats, buoys, birds, and sand: the harbor is a living lab. Kids investigate how the breakwater shapes currents and sand, who lives on the docks, and how a working fishing harbor runs.
